Just got back from Paris.
New rider Louie Jones asked an old lady in a shop if she sold "Fags" She had no idea what he was on about.
So he repeated the question slower and louder, FAGS, DO YOU SELL THEM?
What a numbnuts, it was too funny. Apparently Nick Worthington had to leave the shop cos he was laughing too much.
So, five days of dumbness with Worthington and Louie.
Gotta thank Max, Soy, Pierre, Jean Marc, Tura, Seb and my old friend Mark Newton for looking after us during our stay there.
We got some stuff done for "Live from Antarctica", Louie filmed a few things, Nick filmed some lines, I filmed some wallrides and a trick at my favoutrite spot "Le Vague" (The Sundial near Chatlet Les Halles station, opposite Saint Eustache Church)
Paris is so good.
Its too hot.
I can't deal with this heat.
I like those cold Spring days where you wake up and its chilly, but the sun is out and the sky is blue.
Sweltering heat just ruins me. So I'm sat in my basement flat trying to avoid this wretched weather.
I realised something. I think red boards are unlucky.
Every time I've hurt myself has been skating a red board or a board with a Red top stain, or some red graphics.
So I've tried to avoid them, this is why I tend to never make red boards. I'm feeling white boards right now, they look nice and clean, and I guess our graphics stand out best against white.
Thinking about it, a lot of companies don't make red boards really do they?
I can only think of the Red Zero Bold board for some reason. Maybe red boards being unlucky is common knowledge.
I just set up my Illustrators 3 series board, its 8.125 and it feels amazing to skate.
I thought I may have trouble cos its so big, but it seems to flip really easy. There's more to catch and land on I guess.
I'll get an image of the Heroin/Emerica crossover shoe posted up soon.
Right, its getting cooler, I'm gonna go and skate a bank to wall.
Working on Howards new board graphics now. So keep checking, they'll be up here soon.
Just done a new Pulman graphic and I'm trying to do a Chopper board too.
Check Glass's blog for "Live from Antarctica" updates. (Click the LFA link).
Just finished some new wheel graphics too, so look out for them, I'll post em up soon.

We updated the site a bit!
Sorry its been a while. At least there's nice skateboards for you to look at.
New limited shirts coming soon, so they'll be up here soon.
We're gonna do a Limited run of the French Illustrators 3 graphic.
So I was down at Glass's yesterday and today checking footage for Live From Antarctica.
Things are definitely coming along and the September release is looking pretty realistic.
Click the LFA link on the top to go to the Live From Antarctica website which Glass will be updating with news for you.
Around that time there's also the Heroin/Fos Emerica Heretic 2 shoe coming, which I'm really excited about.
I can't post pictures of em up just yet,but keep watching the site, I'll get some up as soon as I can.
What else has been happening? Hmm, just doing graphics and trying to film for the video as much as I can really.
Been a while since I did a list.
Songs I wanna use for my video part, but I know Alan Glass won't let me have...
To Have and to have not - Lars and the Bastards
Rudie Can't Fail - The Clash
Jockeyful of Bourbon - Tom Waits
Africa gone Funky - Screamin Jay Hawkins
The Red Cobra - The Mummies
Any J-Pop
Any Punk Rock.
Yeah, I'm sure some of these are gonna get refused for my own good though.
That's why Glass is my attourney, he's got my back.
He's very valuable to me, he's not just some dingbat I picked up on the strip.
