Alright, I know its been a while since the site has been updated, but there'll be some new stuff for you to look at soon.
Illustrators series 4 is coming, this includes boards from myself, James Jarvis, Simon True, Fergadellic, and French.
I'm stoked on the Simon True boards. We're also re-printing the James Jarvis Rock is King board in a new colour.
There's be Illustrators series 4 wheels too this time.
Just got back from California, went to the ASR tradeshow, skated with McGuire and Noah at Poway banks, that was sick. Missed going to Carlsbad park this time, but skated the Zero park which was amazing.
I'll get on and try and finish the Illustrators 4 stuff so we can put it up.
Cheers.
Damn. Live from Antarctica sold out at Power and we've had to re-order it!
Thanks to everyone who's mailed me and said how much they like it.
We're all so stoked that people liked it as much as they did.
What's happening?
Rogie back from Barcelona, check Sidewalk messageboards for his little film that he made.
He's officially on Spitfire and Thunder, still no Shoe sponsor though, can you believe it??
Louie's M.I.A. I'd say probably at KOKO in Camden though. Gonna drag him out skating soon the little bastard.
Worthington, see above.
Howard is around, there was a sick thread on the Sidewalk messageboard with loads of his old interviews in.
Chopper and Hamaji filming for Infection 2, an Osaka Daggers scene type video, Summer 2006 release.
Glass just back from a trip to oz and Japan, checking up on the Daggers and the mighty DAL.
I'm thinking of doing a DAL feature on the site, to give some insight into the background on this unique and unusual creature.
I'm working on wheel graphics and stuff and trying to skate as much as i can despite the crap weather. I have an art show in Paris on March 2nd too, at my friend Freds shop "Starcow". Its a collaboration show with me and my good friend photographer David Tura from Sugar magazine collaborating on stuff, and my old friend from Burnley College Mark Newton and another photographer too. I'll try and post more info on it soon. In teh meantime, my show is still up at Kirk Originals the glasses shop in Floral Street in London, (Scroll down the Blog for more info) Its ending soon I think.
Pulman one man demo's at Southbank every day. Talk of a 270 No Comply back tail?? Filming for the Slam video.
Tubb back from the Canary Islands with Adio. Filming for the Story video.
Fiske? In Boston, bonkers, stoked on Heroin, talk of a filming trip out there to try and get some footage of him.
Listening to "Clap your hands, say Yeah" that Eiry lent me, and "Helen Love" from the Rogie/Tyreman Barcelona footage at the moment.
That's about it. Cheers, Fos.
Hey, NTSC copies of LFA came in yesterday. That means they play on US, Canadian and Japanese TV's.
I've been spending a couple of days shipping them out to distributors in Japan and the US. I have a few left that will be available from Slam City as of next week. Black Box will be distributing them in the USA.
Sunny day, I want to skate but I have loads of graphics stuff to finish and I have to wait for Fed Ex to pick up these boxes up and drop off some wheel samples.
LFA Pro models are selling super good. We must be doing something right.
So, its another New Year. To me that means that Winter (Those dark, dark times that we endure between September and Janurary) is nearly over, and we have Spring and Summer to look forward to. Can't wait till those cold, dry, sunny Spring days start kicking in.
LFA DVD's out so the pressures off for the time being. Trying to get DJ to put up a thing where you can vote for your favourite section, but if it happens at all it'll be a while cos we're all pretty busy. Thanks to everyone for all the great feedback on the DVD, glad you guys like it.
Off to Paris again this week, this time with Heather (Girlfriend name-check!) ha ha, for a few days culture.
Hopefully get to skate Le Wag at some point too.
Oh, if anyone's after a first series Heroin James Jarvis Rock is King board (2003) they had one at Note in Manchester last week when I was there. Good shop by the way guys.
Speaking of James Jarvis, Nick from Power distribution dropped off the new JJ LFA Heroin Pro Boards at my house today.
Its the first time I've seen them and I'm stoked, I think Slam have had them a while now, but I've been in the Rossendale Valley, miles from civilization and Wireless networking.
Rogie's on Thunder and Spitfire directly now apparently, good for him. Slept on by UK shoe company team managers????
