  New Stuff

Pulman told me that I should update the blog every weekend, so that people have something new to read on Monday morning when they come to work. Well, its a nice theory, but I don't really have that much to say at the moment.
Just came back from a trip back to the Glorious North for a few days with that numbnuts French. It was fun, I skated Manchester a bit, caught up with everyone that I hadn't seen in ages, this included my annual meeting with Bingo from Mischief. Ha ha. Manchester rips, seems to be loads of good people there at the moment, really strong scene, loads of spots, loads of good shops supporting the scene. Cheers to everyone that made my time up there fun.
I suppose the major news at Heroin is that I'm gonna give myself a signature board. Yep, from next month there'll be a Fos model in the range alongside Pulman, Chopper and Howard boards. Sure there's been Fos Illustrator series boards before, but this is the first time that there'll be an actual Fos pro board available. I figured it was time to man up, and besides I get more footage than any of those other bastards who ride for me anyway. So look out for that soon. Its gonna be 7.875 x 32.125, so its a slightly skinnier version of that amazing 8 inch board that we make, which me and Pulman have been riding for two years and pretty much refer to as the perfect 8. (Most companies try and make 8 inch versions of their 7.5 boards and this never works out, to make a decent 8 you need straighter rails, and an extra eighth of an inch on the nose and wheelbase. Somewhere along the line we got this just right, and if you rode pretty much any 8 inch board that we made in the last 3 years then you'll know what I mean (Any of these were on the perfect 8 - French Illustrators 2-Hove Warrior, French Illustrators 3, Spirals, Chainsaw, Everything 8.00, Good Shit Ripped, LFA Jarvis series Pulman Pro)
So I wanted to have the exact same board as that but take a tiny bit of the width. Not skated it yet, so I'm looking forward to the sample shape coming back.
There's also a new Illustrators series out in the next few weeks. Look out for graphics in the Hardware section on the site hopefully going up sometime this week. There's wheels with that series this time too. Including a 55mm Rock is King wheel in purple!!!
So, that's what's up this week. I'll try and make sure that Hardware gets updated, I've also been getting photo's together for the team part of the site, so hopefully that'll be up withing the next few weeks. We're working on it, honestly.
See you out there.

  Bees 2 Swarm

Mine and Alan Glass's current favourite video (Alongside Barrier Kult) is the Milwaukee video "Bees 2 Swarm".
This is nothing short of genius from begining to end.
Rogie and Glass watched it with fascination the other day, time and time again.
Thoroughly bizarre "skateboarding" can be seen sporadically between Strange movie clips and psychadellic animations are loosley tied together with some kind of odd reference to Bees.
Got my copy off John McGuire at Zero and have every intention of burning a few and sending them out to folk. Pulman, Glass and Zorlac already have their copies, let the swarm go forth and multiply.

  Rogie

Rogie was down at the weekend with his size 13 Lakai's. Last time he came down to London he pretty much broke his toe, stayed for a few days surviving only on Pot Noodles and Sweets, got no footage and blocked my toilet.
This time was a different story, we got kicked out of a few spots on Saturday, Sunday it rained, and Monday was one of the most productive filming days we've had for a while. He maintained his strict diet of sweets, but i did see him eat a bagel, which was as close as it came to normal food I think. "I've never had a bagel before"
Rad.
