Back from L.A. I went there for the launch of the new Andrew Reynolds clothing brand "Altamont" that I've been doing all the graphics stuff for. Had fun there, met some cool people, worked a lot. I have a couple of photo's, i'll try and get them up soon. Recognize the writing?
So Fiske went home today. After 3 weeks of jokes and hilarity the weird bastard has left our shores for his home town of Boston over in the good ol' U.S. of A. The Sugar mag trip was a blast with him on it, Paris was awesome and the week or so in Blighty even spawned the odd bit of footage. Look out for evidence of all this over the coming days/weeks/months with some daft photos and bits of video. Sorry it's crappy youtube quality but this was my favourite moment from the last 3 weeks - he finally killed that stupid board. 35 inches long and totally retarded. NOT a Heroin board, repeat - NOT a Heroin board!
Fos is in the states for a couple of weeks but I expect we'll hear from him on here informing us he's found a new way to consume coffee and ice-cream together or something. While he's away I'll try to find a bunch of new stuff to show you, including some video hopefully, but in the mean time here's some old snaps from the last proper Heroin trip to Japan. We've both been back since but not together and I'm starting to crave a healthy dose of the Daggers. One can only live for so long without Chopper, Hamaji and DAL! Glass x
Here's some photos of "our boys" behind enemy lines. Glass.
Fiske, Rogue Leader, Fos and Jean Monie (soon renamed J-Money) Gambling with dice became a way of life post-skateboarding (or whenever we had a spare minute). I won 3 times, more than anyone else (so bring it on if you wanna lose some Euros) Sometimes you just have to cool off. Fiske leads the way. Rogie eats 15 bags of this crap a week. His dentist must be laughing. Unfortunately Rogie had to split halfway through the tour. Our Rogie-replacement and french homie Vivien Feil, courtesy of Krooked (I guess that made him a "gest") Nobody has ever looked this french. Ever. Fiskabeats bought a huge slab of butter thinking it was cheese. "I don't care, i'll eat it anyway" Alex Klein, our special guest for the week. Kept wanting to film wallies, which is kind of weird as you could almost wallie his hair as seen in this photo. Awwww! You know you're getting on good when you share the same piece of floss. Alex and Vivien "warming down".
So, a million thanks to all at Sugar magazine, especially photographer/all-round-hero David Tura for having the patience of a saint and revelling in our retarded mix CD as much as us.
Just been in Normandie for a week doing the Battle of Normandie article for Sugar magazine, Back in Paris at the moment staying at the gracious Mister and Mrs Ones house. (Chas One) I'll try and get some photo's up, all I can say is we had a hell of a lot of fun, Me, Fiske Rogie and Glass went, Jon Monie our French Representitive came with us, our mate Dave Tura from Sugar magazine from France, and we had Vivien Feil and Alex Klein as our special guests. Basically the idea is to spend a week a villa in Normandie, get cooked for and driven around to spots and get shreddy. We'll make a short video that will be a DVD on the front of Sugar magazine later this year. I'll get more details up soon, it was epic. We spent the whole week skating and laughing (mostly at Fiske).
