Fos set up a Deer Man board t'other day and took it out for a ritual. We didn't have any Barriers but we did have the wall at Stockwell. Shave the blood nose for the hell pivot. (That's my hoodie by the way)
Oh and I wanted to send this to Fos while he's in NYC this week but my email server is acting up so I might as well post it here for you all to see. We've always been really into that song 'Goodbye Horses' from Silence Of The Lambs but have never managed to work it into a Heroin video. Well, now we have this we may never need to.

Friday eh? Good stuff. No actual news as such but Fiske is currently sending an astounding number of emails each day mainly concerning music, although there is still a certain amount of random madness in each one. Pizzer, Tubb, Worthington, The Daggers, Howard and Deer Man have all been off the radar this week so you can use your imagination to work out what they've been up to.

Jon Monie, our french connection, has been getting some footy over to us recently. Here's a little snippet of what he, and everyone else, have to put up with when out skating with the boss.

So it snowed last night (in London anyway)!! Somebody must have left our freezer door open and
Immortal must have escaped. That picture has been frozen to the back wall for years.

Ault has been on fire recently, racking up footage and smashing London spots. Yet more Fiske footy is on it's way from Boston and both Rogie and Monie have been sending stuff too. Maybe we should do something with all this?

Anyone skated a Deer Man board yet?

This just in: Rogue Leader had a motorbike accident in India. I don't think it's that serious or anything, he probably just fell off one of those rental mopeds and skinned his knee whilst riding one handed and trying to cram 80 Haribo gummy crocodiles in his mouth at once. Apparently he wants to get a motorbike now so he can't be all that badly hurt. Mummy rub it better Rogie!

On a very tenuous related tip... Rogie's mate Ollie Tyreman is possibly better than French on mini-ramp. And now the Evil Forest series is out we don't have to mention French for a while or put any more daft clips of him on here. Be grateful for small mercies.
The Fiske footage just keeps on coming. Got another little batch from Coliseum filmer Dave Kordan today featuring more stupidity from Fiske and a few tricks from Vey so look out for that soon.
Also just got a bit more footy from Fos of Pizzer and Ault at Finsbury Park bowl last weekend. One of them may have ollied the fence... can you guess which one?
Have a good weekend.

The Deer Man boards are in. Hail BA:KU.

A footage tape from Fiske arrived yesterday. When you too get to see what passes as skateboarding these days you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hurl. Again. The weird bastard actually has a few bangers in there which gave us a little curl at the corner of our mouths. Not something that the weather has produced lately.

Fos filmed a bunch of stuff with the Dudes-Called-Chris-Display-Team (Pulman and Ault) at the weekend so maybe you'll get to see that soon too.

Couldn't think of what video to post today so, as ever, when in doubt go with
GWAR. This ones a cracker..."I'm so glad you're here for me right now Beefcake!"

So, the Manchester trip last weekend was a wash-out - it pizzed it down all weekend and Rogie got ill and never made it over (GWS!). Fortunately Tubb came from Sheffield and kept us entertained with his
grasp of popular fashion and comedy slams. If it weren't for the Projekts park under the bridge and the new Central park (complete with wooden DITCH!!!) we wouldn't have got to skate at all.Oh and I bet French he couldn't do 10 wallrides in a row in the ditch. Either he's got more stamina than he's given credit for or he can't count for shit. Here's 14 in a row.

Christmas come late for Fos!
Erin at Emerica sent me over a pair of Francis's. I was so stoked I wanted to share this with you all. These are pretty much all I can skate in nowadays, they're amazing, you can roll in em right out of the box. I've had about eight pairs in a row now. I should really be telling you NOT to buy a pair cos you won't want to skate in anything else after you've had these. I got the purple laces from some Reynolds 2's I had around though, they're good too, but I like the Francis's best. There's a Truck company called Independent too, maybe you've heard of it?? They make the best trucks, its a FACT, its not my opinion its a FACT! Its in the dictionary and everything, look under Independent, its says - "The Best Trucks". Jerome at Shiner sent me some 139's, perfect for the 8 inch LFA Pulman that I'm riding. Gotta wack the Red Indy rubbers in too, ask Simon True, Red Indy Rubber Crew. Indy Stickers too, Yeah man.
I just wanted to say cheers to both Erin and Jerome.
Of course things all come in threes. This morning I got another box care of UPS. It was from James our distributer in the USA. Look!!!! BLACK JACK CHEWING GUM!!! Let me tell you about Black Jack, its liquorice flavoured chewing gum. I first had this stuff in New York, its amazing, (If you like Liquorice) and really hard to get hold of only a few places sell it.
Look too, the Traffic video!!!! Stoked, as well as some sunglasses??? (He's never been to New Cross) and some Dunkin Donuts coffee. I like it when people send me coffee. There were also stickers, wheels, an Iron Maiden patch and a sponsor me DVD from a lad named Hector which I haven't watched yet.

Fos.

So, French and I are heading north to Manchester to see Rogie and Tubb and maybe even get some footage. In celebration of the fact we're to spend several hours aboard a coach for this privelege here's a double helping of Rogie to keep you amused until next week.

Going fast and hitting the longest grind can be well satisfying even if you've got a problem with Haribo that no amount of meetings can cure.

Whilst it's crappy and wet at the moment you could look back fondly on Arthur's lovely holiday to Tenerife last summer with the Adio team. Except you weren't there. Sadly neither was I. Anyway, here's a very Tubb kind of line from then.
One of Arthur's old friends is Docco photographer Sam Ashley who, as you can see here, is a grown up who won't resort to base-level humour just to get a laugh.
As you've seen by the presence of his giant war-board in the new French-designed range Deer Man Of Dark Woods from the Barrier Kult now rides for Heroin. Kult leader Depth Leviathan Dweller just sent me this link to a little write up they just got. It's labelled as 'Sports'! Ha ha! It should be under 'Religion' really.

  2nd January 2007

2007 eh? Headaches? Bit fatter than you were a week or so ago? Never mind, you'll soon have shredded yourself back to health seeing as you're skint and the only fun you can actually afford now is skateboarding.

Expect all sorts of daft updates on this site throughout '07 and maybe even a little surprise in the next month or so. One thing that surprised me recently while searching youtube for shark attacks and Marisa Tomei in
that bit from The Guru was this random self-filmed clip of Heroin collaborator and artistic nutter/genius Simon True.

That clip pretty much sums Truey up really. Even though he's lived in Japan for years you can all feel like you know him now.
