Click here if your feeble soul is strong enough to withstand the power of Deer Man Of Dark Woods' words. He has a shoe coming out on Emerica in case you wondered what the clip is about.

Ollie Tyreman has a mini-interview at the Sidewalk site. Click on his boatrace below to read it.

P.S. He's much more handsome now, that's an old photo.

What are you doing Saturday? Want to watch Howard
ollie the fence into the bowl end and then scouse flip the gap in a line? Yeah so do we. Still, if you turn up your chances are increased by 3%. Good luck!

OK, so what have you been doing with your time?? Watching
Gou Miyagi if you have any sense! You should buy the DVD - it's amazing. It's called Overground Broadcasting by The Far East Skate Network. The director Morita is a good lad and a friend of ours so put some money in his pockets - trust me, you won't regret it! There's literally skateboarding you won't have seen before.
Click here to check their website and order a copy!

Hard to tell from this one clip but Gou doesn't use griptape - he uses cloth glued to the top of his board. Don't laugh you'll all be doing it next year.
Oh and did we mention DAL is in this too?!

MEGA UPDATE from Fos!
Firstly, sorry for the lack of updates, I've been away a bit, I know, it's no excuse to leave you reading about eating silk worms for three weeks.
So, anyway I was away with Landscape for Document magazines Big Push, then as soon as I got back from that I went to China and painted a ramp at the Adidas Three Stripe Skate Hype event in Shanghai, which was amazing. While I was there I saw Chopper and Mari, it ,made me miss Osaka a lot seeing those guys.
Then as soon as I got back from there I flew to Scotland to see Tom Waits play at the Playhouse in Edinburgh, which was pretty damn epic. (I ATE A DEEP FRIED MARS BAR)
So apologies for me or Glass not updating this thing with random posts about how good Liquorice is or some nonsense about coffee.
Banging video sections that I've seen this week.
DAL in "Life" (New Osaka Daggers video)
Gravette in "And Now"
Richie Jackson in "And Now"
Go Miyagi in "Overground Broadcasting"
Just in!
Guess who is in town! Rochdales own
SIMON TRUE.

Email from Fos:
"I'm in Shanghai, China. Thought I'd mail y'all and let you know how it's going. It's like the sketchy dirty version of Japan.I'm in some crazy plush hotel with a pool on the 26th floor and all this crazy stuff.Went for dinner earlier and ate fried silk worms. Here's a pic, they were pretty nasty in all honesty, big bloody things too.
There was Donkey meat on the menu, but I was more in a fried silk worm kind of mood, you know what I mean??Haven't seen dog on the menu yet, but it's early days.Hope you are all living the dream.Fos."
They look rank. That's my professional opinion. Fancy a laugh at Tyreman's hair? He has an interview
here! Get clicking.
Oh and Rogie came to Bristol a while back, here's him and Joe Habgood at
Hengrove.

The spiritual home of Heroin Skateboards - Stockwell - is back open!! At least in the evenings anyway. Lethal Fozzle and some friends had a scrape on a couple of the new bits t'other night.

Oh and we've got the new Osaka Daggers 'Infection' video. Now you know what jealousy feels like. DAL has an epic 2 song part and Hamaji still has officially the best style in the world. One day we'll work out a way to show the video to you guys. For now just imagine the most avant garde shit you can and you might be close.

New Boards are hitting the shelves now. Some classics have made another appearance.
We've got another 4 more more boards coming for July so check back to see those new ones soon. Wheels are also now in..

...and check out Tubb in Story Store's Devonshire Green edit. Visit their site for a decent quality Quicktime version by clicking below

How about some
vintage Howard for your eyes? Keep watching until halfway through for the good shit. Or get in the Tardis to go even further back... (video in the bottom right corner)

We were in Le Havre t'other day so Fos jumped the wall. From the others reaction it's just as well you can't see the landing. Just kidding! Well done Fozzy!
We got sunburnt! Who else has been skating?
April 22, 2008

Rogie has a great photo in this month's Docco...

...nice huh?
As to what the rest are up to is anyone's guess. Pulman has been skating - I saw it on the Slam site - but the rest could be pursuing careers in traditional eastern european dance for all I know.
"Earth to Heroin team! Come in Heroin team?"
April 17, 2008
This may look like a clip from Police Academy 4 but it's not - it's a webcam showing us
what the Osaka Daggers are doing right now!
April 10, 2008
So, we have a
Heroin Myspace now - we bowed under pressure from our yank distributor and made one. Have a look and be-friend us or whatever.

The new
Hold Tight London is up and features nause-bag
Chris Ault as ever. Such a sick thing these guys are doing - watch and support it!
Fiske keeps sending the weirdest messages (I know but these are weirder than usual) including "music" that he's made. If you want to hear it then leave a comment on the Myspace page or something and we'll see if the world is ready for it.
March 28, 2008
Rogie (sorry, Stephen Roe) has been down in Bristol this week, filming for a future Heroin video. While at St. George's park he and Landscaper Joel Curtis made a short film entitled
"Back 360s when we should have been getting proper footage".Seen this? I'm backing it.
March 07, 2008
So yeah, it's been a while but here's some news.
Heroin Skateboards is 10 years old!! Unlike human beings that doesn't mean we're going to get extra precocious, start having funny feelings about girls and develop an unhealthy Games Workshop fixation. No, instead we've got a quiver of new boards for you, have a look.

Artists joining in to commemorate our anniversary are Simon True, Todd Bratrud, Michael Sieben, Don Pendleton, Gunsho and French.
Also, as you'll see in this month's
Document we've now got Manchester based ruler
Ollie Tyreman on the team! Best idea we've had in ages I reckon. Look for him round and about and ask him if he likes any music other than bands from Manchester. Also he should be appearing alongside our very own
Stephen Roe (The Artist Formerly Known As Rogie) in new British independent video
Savoir Faire any time soon so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Finally, an email from
Colin Fiske the other day revealed that he has formed a band called '
Anal Crypt'. Tragically the link he sent to their Myspace page doesn't work so you can consider that a lucky escape.

So I went to America recently. Started off in New York for the Fiber-Ops/Altamont collab launch in New York, then went to ASR and Agenda tradeshows in San Diego. Altamont had a booth at Agenda and everyone seems really stoked on what we're doing. I hand painted the booth when I was there last year. We had the best booth.
While I was there I met DRESSEN!!!!
Eric Dressen was a pro skateboarder in the 1980's and came to Castle Leisure centre in Bury and did a demo that pretty much changed my life. I had never seen anything like it. He did huge wallrides of everything Venice style. I told him that the demo had a huge effect on me and he said that those times doing trips to Europe were the best times in his life. We spoke about Tim Jackson too.

I saw Lucero too, Lucero rips at art, slappies and eating candy. Its no wonder we get along.
The following pictures are from Justin Regans birthday party which was held at Fatburger in West Hollywood. Below is Donny Miller, an artist and all round good lad. He was there to partake in the "Triple King Challenge" where you have to eat a Triple decker extra large hanburger and if you manage to eat it you get a tee shirt, a certificate and your picture on the wall.

We did it. if you're ever at Fatburger in West Hollywood, check us out, this photo is above the juke box!

One thing I discovered whilst in America was "Shirley Temples" a non alcoholic cocktail of 7up with a splash of grenadine. Instead of ordering Cokes when I went to bars I found myself getting these things, they taste so damn good, I was at the airport bar drinking these right before I left. They're banging. I even went to scouring the streets of New Cross as soon as I got home for grenadine. Now I can make these bad boys in the comfort of my own home.

Chris Ault has a bang bang first trick in the latest
Hold Tight London edit. Have a look at the site and be sure to check the older edits too.

Fos is back from L.A. after ASR and various burger eating exploits. He never seems to get a tan when he goes there. Why is that? I'd be straight down the beach.

Email from Fos in L.A...
"Saw Rambo at my first possible convenience today.
Dude.
Five hunting knives out of five.
Total brutality now!!!!!
Just needed to let you know.
Fos"

Arthur Tubb just sent me this clip of him and his mates pissing about. Who thinks we should fire him?
January 11, 2008
Seen this? I hadn't until just now. It's good. We're working on some great stuff for you this year with some special boards and surprises on their way. Keep 'em peeled!
December 30, 2007
Christmas day saw the birth of Jacob Kitt Pulman to proud parents Chris and Michelle! Good work fellas! As you can see they've named the wee lad after their favourite (and everybody's favourite!) Slam employee - Jake - and the car out of Knight Rider. An odd mix but it works none the less.
Give the kid a few months and he'll gaze up into his daddy's eyes and speak his first word....."Grandad!"
December 11, 2007
Hey, want some lo-res
myskateordie.com style video clips? I thought so. Here you go - Ault goes
frontside ....
twice. That last one has a bit of a David Lynch beginning but amazingly was shot on a phone! Mental eh? That's better slo-mo than I can do with my huge bank of 70's computers. Hurrumph!
November 26, 2007
Lethal Fozzle just got back from Barca with the other lot. He was in 'space pencil' heaven (see above picture) and managed a little bit of
shredding in between bouts of extreme sugar consumption. His insides must be like the floor of Willy Wonka's factory - seriously Fos, eat a carrot or something!
November 14, 2007
OK, the Video Archive is now online. You'll see the link towards the bottom of the page.
ALL of the Good Shit, Everything's Going To Be Alright and Live from Antarctica videos are on there, minus the extras. It's possible that some skateshops will still have copies of the LFA and Everything DVD's which contain a whole lot more so seek and you shall find. If you want.
Oh and Pizzer is getting some love on the
Slap forum today.
November 13, 2007

Alright then, here's our Big Push edit for those that didn't manage to get Docco. It'll soon reside on the video archive page below with lots of other graceful poses from Heroin teamriders, past and present.

And this is some footage that I (AHEM!) "misplaced" during the edit for the Big Push. Maybe you could play both clips at the same time or something and pretend that I wasn't such a dipshit.
Gunsho boards should be in this week so have a look in your local shred-sled emporium for them soon. Fos gave us some nice Darkthrone logo Heroin zip-hoods t'other day too (tit print, back print, black print on black) which are pretty sick. Are they for sale Fos or just for the homies?
Ever wondered what
Fiske's part in MSH looked like before some clever editing and green-screening? Or
Chopper's part in LFA?EDIT: Oh and Fos is even more of a
bad influence than we thought.
