Chet is out there. Lost or found? Who knows? Clark Hodgin and Matt Miller made this snapshot of Chet.
Nick Michel and Daniel Dent (The mastermind behind Snot Job) filmed a banging part for a Transworld video contest recently. Watch it and then vote for Nick!!
Snot Job, the independent production that came out of Vegas last year was fantastic, it had two of our guys in there and a whole bunch of other people that we really like. Great video, you should pick up hard copy if you can. Here's Nick Michels part, this was definitely one of my favorite parts that came out last year. Enjoy.
We just put up Franks Shaws Bath Salts part on Vimeo. Frank got on the team just a few weeks before our editing deadline and I figured he was going to have a couple of tricks in the end credits announcing him as our new rider, but he went out and filmed a whole bunch of good stuff for it. Thought it was time to share this with everyone, not just the privileged few who own the Bath Salts DVD (or iTunes download)
We're stoked to announce that Craig Questions Scott is the newest Pro for Heroin Skateboards. If you'd have told me that the annoying kid who kept asking me loads of questions at our Live From Antarctica Premier in 2005 would be Pro for Heroin one day, I'd have laughed in your face. Over the years I've gotten to know Craig, and his enthusiasm for skateboarding is overwhelming and infectious, he reminds me why I started, and that most important of all ideas, that skating is fun. One of my favorite people in the world to skate with, I miss skating Stockwell with the little bastard. I could go on and on and tell you one of the million stories that I love about Craig, but there's no room here, I spoke to him earlier today and he said "It'll be well good when my board comes out, cos all those industry pricks will be pissed off and say "Why is He Pro?" and a load of kids who actually skate will be stoked" ha ha. Thats sums it up for me, sure, he's pissed people off along the way, but thats just the way it goes, Craig isn't afraid to speak his mind, there's no lucrative shoe deals on the line for him, we didn't fly everyone out for a party, we're just stoked to have this dirtbag skating for us, if we sella few of his boards, maybe he won't have to eat things he finds in the street anymore.
Watch our 2007 video Magic Sticky Hand here. Edited by Alan Glass, featuring Colin Fiske, Rogie, Deer Man of Dark Woods and Chris Ault.
Jenkem mag posted the fantastic new video "Seven" by our own Fat Jim. Y'all should own this on DVD already by now, hit up Note or one of the other great UK shops and support Jims Greggs habit. Tom Day and Joe O'Donnell have full parts in this one!
Zack Krull gets the first in our Bath Salts Relapse edits. When you have ten minutes of good stuff left over from his banging part then it'd be rude not to share it with the world. Hope this brightens your Thursday up a bit.
Well this is surprising. Rough Mike out of the blue has just filmed a new part. One of our first riders, Mike had a part in our first video "Good Shit" from 1999. He hurt his shoulder shortly after and wasn't able to skate for a while. I hadn't spoken to him for ages, I heard rumors from mutual friends that he was still alive and well, but the was all I knew, then we started talking a bit on these social media things a few years ago. Last year I thew out the idea of him doing a board graphic, as he's an incredible talented artist, and well, a Heroin Alumni. I'm stoked that the board just came out in our Spring line (Voodoo Girl) and then from out of nowhere he mentions that he just filmed a part. Exactly what you'd expect from Mike, shouting, weird spots, bizarre tricks. Don't call it a comeback. Its great to see Mike skating though.
